With the 2025 show season now finished, we look back at what our little Autumntrail gang accomplished. We’re proud of our team of 4 (+1) dogs and 2 owner-handlers!
We end the year with:
2 Grand Champions,
2 Grand Champion Bronze,
1 Grand Champion Silver,
1 Best in Specialty Show,
1 Award of Merit,
1 new Champion,
A Top 10 Golden in Canada,
#3 Owner-handled Golden in Canada,
and with each dog having been shown and placing in their class at the GRCA (Golden Retriever Club of America) National.
Katie:
Only shown at 3 specialty weekends, she garnered lovely comments, as well as
#3 Award of Merit at the CGRQ Regional (top bitch AOM),
Best In Specialty Show at the GRCGT Regional, and
2nd in AOH at the GRCA National.
Ryder:
Grand Champion,
Grand Champion Bronze,
Grand Champion Silver,
4th in Adult BBE at the GRCA National
… and BOB at the last show of the year.
Ryder finishes 2025 as
#9 Golden and
#3 Owner-Handled Golden in Canada
– all before his 2nd birthday.
Ella:
Grand Champion,
Grand Champion Bronze,
and she placed 4th in AOH at the GRCA National.
Jake:
Only shown at 1 specialty weekend and the GRCA National, Jake placed 4th in AOH at the US National under the renowned Pat Trotter.
Maverick:
We were fortunate to have Ella & Ryder’s litterbrother back with us for a couple weeks so that we could show him. Maverick learned the ropes, and quickly started and finished his Championship. We thank Lisa and his whole family, who give him his best life!
